so sleep should comes easy after seven shots of someone elses whisky and such expended energy. we’ve been wasted. we’ve been wasted lately. and its not like he’s jealous but he so knows, he’s just printing up posters and working these shows. and all these bands keep passing thru, he knows how they think and how they think about you 

we keep our plans in our heads, we keep our maps to our chests, we caught fire but fire burns bridges best. i lost myself for you, i lost out, but every leaving means heading somewhere new. 

it can’t be gloomy planets forever, or american trilogy on repeat in a hostel north of nowhere. i guess he hopes you stay but he’ll wait to see how salzburg sways. if yr keeping the flat to come back, you should tell him what you said; could make boyfriend yet. 

here’s to you and him. the fairy tale town and the free bar. the absinthe, the whisky shots and the sloe gin. here’s to giving in.
